During his annual address to the Federal Assembly on April 25, 2005 Putin called the collapse of the Soviet Union the “biggest geopolitical catastrophe of the century” and the demise of “historical Russia”. Ever since coming to power, the Russian dictator has made no secret of his intention to revive the Soviet empire. The first step towards this plan was the Second Chechen war in 1999, then the war against Georgia in 2008, followed by the armed annexation of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine in 2014, and finally a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. And if Ukraine falls, Russia’s further occupation of Georgia, the Baltic States, Moldova, and Poland seems  inevitable. Therefore, a complete victory over the Russian Federation is impossible without the complete decolonization of Russia. It is also the biggest fear of Putin. And that’s why it must come true!

To Make Russia Small Again means to return it to the borders of Muscovy of 1462, before the colonization of the Volga region, the Caucasus, Siberia and Asia.
